Since February, heavy-duty truck drivers in Russia have seen a significant increase in payments to the Platon system, rising by 29 kopecks, a near-double of the initially planned increase. This year has also brought about a slight decrease in the price of butter with an 82.5% fat content, though predictions on future prices vary. In November of the previous year, Russia experienced a reduction in wine imports from the European Union, though two countries bucked the trend by significantly increasing their supplies. Starting from January 22, Russia has implemented increased export duties on its major grain crops, with corn facing the most substantial rate hike. Furthermore, Russian fertilizer exporters have emerged as the leading suppliers to the European Union, surpassing Egypt in terms of volume, solidifying Russia's dominant position in the EU export market.
