The Mato Grosso Agriculture and Livestock Federation (Famato) and the State Secretariat for Economic Development (Sedec) recently held a meeting with Banco do Brasil's Superintendence to discuss the difficulties encountered by the poultry production chain in Mato Grosso regarding rural credit. This meeting was prompted by the Nova Mutum Rural Union and focused on the Financial and Accounting Information Statement for Agricultural Activity (DIPC), a crucial document for integrated producers' credit analysis. Participants discussed the necessity for modifications to the DIPC to facilitate better access to credit for poultry farmers, highlighting the importance of this sector for the state's agricultural production. The meeting was attended by key representatives from Famato, Sedec, Banco do Brasil, and the rural union, aiming to address the challenges and work towards improving rural credit access for poultry farming in Mato Grosso.
