The agricultural machinery market continues to show signs of recovery. According to the latest report from the Association of Automotive Dealers of the Argentine Republic (ACARA), 853 self-propelled machinery units were registered in May 2025, representing an 8.9% increase compared to April and a 33.1% rise compared to the same month last year. With this record, the year-to-date total reaches 2,862 units, 43.3% more than the 1,997 units in the same period of 2024. This rebound occurs in a context of strong technological renewal needs in agriculture, but also with an economic scenario that continues to sow uncertainty. By product type, tractors led the recovery, with 685 units registered in May, 18.9% more than in April and 34.1% more than in May 2024.
