Consumption of fish in Russia complies with the norms of the Ministry of Health

In general, the level of self-sufficiency in fish in Russia at the end of 2022 is 153.3%, which significantly exceeds the figure set by the Food Security Doctrine (85%), the ministry emphasizes. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture proposes to exclude the goal of increasing consumption to 25 kg of fish per person from the state program for the development of the fishery complex.
