REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUPANG -- The Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) in collaboration with the Indonesian Air Force (AU) cultivates sorghum and corn in the area of El Tari Airport, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The development of sorghum and corn is part of the instruction of the Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, to strengthen food security through local food products. "We hope that the cultivation of sorghum and corn can reduce dependence on wheat imports while increasing our food security," said Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture Jan Maringka in Kupang, Friday (24/06/2022).
