Minpromtorg of the Russian Federation is working with the largest retail chains, including "Magnit," X5, "VkusVill," "Lenta," "Yandex.Lavka," and others, on the creation of a standard for ready-made food. This was stated in a ministry report following a visit by Deputy Head of the Department Roman Chekushov to the "Azbuka Vkusa" factory-kitchen. "To streamline the work of factory-kitchens and culinary centers, Minpromtorg of Russia, together with Roskachestvo, has already developed a GOST (Р 55889-2024, effective from 01.06.2025), which adapted the mandatory requirements of the food production management system (HACCP) for ready-made food producers. I am confident that our work with the business will increase the transparency of processes and bring the ready-made food sector to a new level," Chekushov noted.
