More than 10,500 farmers and ranchers from Extremadura in Spain receive almost 29 million euros in aid for the war in Ukraine

MERIDA, Sep. 27 (EUROPA PRESS) - Specifically, those in the suckler cow sector have received 19,830,377.42 euros; the rabbit sector a total of 7,740 euros; the poultry sector 357,592.25 euros; sheep and goat sector 7,555,781.75 euros; the sector dedicated to the fattening of calves 384,810 euros; and, finally, the citrus sector 25,890.79 euros. Regarding the management of the payment of these aids, it has been carried out three months after its call, based on the data of the single application of the Community Agrarian Policy and, in the case of the sectors not included, they have been provided by the register of livestock farms, so that the vast majority of beneficiaries have not had to make an application or provide data.
