For the 2024-2025 season, Chile is expected to export approximately 56,461 tons of table grapes to the United States, a significant portion of which will be shipped from the regions of Atacama, Coquimbo, and Valparaíso using the Systems Approach. This innovation will replace methyl bromide fumigation with a more advanced system of mitigation and inspection, aiming to enhance fruit quality and competitiveness in the market. The total expected grape export volume is 161,347 tons, with new varieties making up 65% of the shipments, marking a 2.4% increase from the previous season and solidifying Chile's position as a major player in the global table grape industry.
