Moroccan pepper exports to the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom have seen a rapid increase in recent years. Morocco has become one of the world's leading exporters of peppers, thanks to its favorable climate and developed agricultural infrastructure. Greenhouse vegetables, including peppers, play an essential role in Moroccan foreign trade. Peppers are the second most exported category of vegetables from Morocco, after tomatoes, and generate significant export revenue. Morocco has the largest greenhouse areas in Africa and is considered one of the world leaders in this field.
