To compensate for the difficulties arising from the invasion of Ukraine, the citrus fruit sector has received around 3.4 million euros, which will benefit more than 2,000 Murcian farmers and will have a positive impact on a total of 13,824 hectares. For its part, the investment for the defense of the meat sector of Murcian livestock translates, in the field of ruminant animals (the suckler cow, fattening cattle and sheep and goats), into almost 820,000 euros destined for 442 farmers ; poultry farming receives about 228,000 euros, with 112 beneficiaries; and rabbit farming is favored with just over 36,000 euros, distributed to 10 farmers.
