As of May 8, 2025, Ukraine has sown 96% of its projected pea crop area, totaling 208.9 thousand hectares. The top five regions for sowing are Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv, accounting for over 67% of the total. Some regions have surpassed their target areas. Compared to 2024, the total pea crop area has grown to 217.4 thousand hectares from 212.1 thousand hectares. The Odesa region remains the leader in pea sowing, with increases in other regions such as Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk.
