Vietnam: Nearly 2,000 hectares of rice are at risk of crop failure due to saltwater intrusion

Along with the continuous hot weather, thousands of hectares of rice of people in the farming period are at risk of water shortage and crop failure. Mr. Le Xi (residing in Dien Ngoc ward, Dien Ban town) said that this year's winter-spring crop, his family has more than 2 sao of rice, completely dependent on water on the irrigation system of the country.
