New onions, cabbages and cherries are Uzbekistan's most exported products

Judging by the applications for transport vehicles, the early Uzbek onions, which are now shipped from the southern region, are the largest exports. An insignificant amount of onions are exported from the regions of Syrdarya and Tashkent (center of the country). Uzbek onions, as a rule, are exported to Russian cities in the northern and central part of the country. Ukraine and Belarus come second in the export of early Uzbek onions, although it is difficult to imagine that Uzbek onions could compete in price on the Ukrainian market, as the price for quality onions in the country is lower than the costs of shipping the onions to Ukraine. ...
