Aylin INTA's plant is characterized by having a closed bearing angle, leaves long (85.6 cm.) and of medium width (3.11 cm.) with a keel angle of 102º. The commercial vegetative cycle is 240 days and the harvest occurs around November 15. “There are other varieties of white garlic that are harvested in December, and those 30 or 40 days apart are an advantage for the producer in terms of labor and also in terms of the quality of the crop,” explained Lanzavechia.
