Breed - a prerequisite factor Identification of varieties is a decisive factor in yield and quality of Ninh Thuan grapes in order to meet the tastes of consumers. According to Mr. Dang Kim Cuong, Director of Ninh Thuan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province currently has 4 grape varieties for fresh eating, including red grapes (Red Cardinal) and 3 green grape varieties including NH01-48, NH01-152, NH04-102 and 1 variety. wine grapes (Shiraz). These are grape varieties selected by Nha Ho Institute of Cotton Research and Agricultural Development. In addition, Ninh Thuan's agriculture sector has identified promising grape varieties, including 5 fresh grape varieties: NH01-153, NH01-39, NH01-96, NH01-26, NH04-195 and 3 wine grape varieties NH02-97, NH02-90, NH02-137. In the coming time, Ninh Thuan's agricultural sector will continue to evaluate and put promising varieties into production.
