The Norwegian Seafood Council held the '2025 Norway Seafood Forum' on the 9th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and conducted an in-depth discussion on the opportunities and challenges of Norwegian seafood in the Korean market. The forum was divided into two parts: Part 1 focused intensively on Norwegian mackerel, and Part 2 covered Norwegian seafood in general, including salmon, red king crab, and shrimp. The event began with an opening address by Anne Kari Hansen Ovind, the Norwegian Ambassador to Korea, followed by presentations by Johan Kvalheim, the Norwegian Seafood Council's General Manager for Japan and Korea, and Paul Choi, a marketing advisor, who shared the global and Korean export status of Norwegian mackerel and salmon.
