Nuts: 5 million from the PSR arrive in Calabria, Italy

Nuts are increasingly at the center of the attention of the Calabria Region and local farmers. On the website www.calabriapsr.it the final ranking of the applications that participated in the call for support for investments in new plantings or tree replantings of shell fruit species was published. Overall, there are 113 applications deemed eligible for funding for the year 2022, for an amount of approximately 5 million euros. Specifically, the surface area of new plantations eligible for financing amounts to 717 hectares, of which 355 of almond, 120 of hazel, 110 of walnut, 98 of chestnut and 34 of pistachio.
