Olive mills sold 84,168 tons of olive oil in October, almost 28% more than in the same month of the previous year, a pace that practically doubles the 13.5% increase in production, which amounted to 41,611 tons. This is according to the latest data provided by the Food Information and Control Agency (AICA), which highlighted that the stocks as of October 31, 2025, were 280,313 tons, almost 10,000 tons less than in September. Of that amount, 92,906 tons were in the hands of producers; 185,909 tons, of packagers; and 1,497, of the Olive Growers' Common Heritage.
