The Brazilian government has secured an agreement with Mali's health authorities to export seven agricultural products, including live cattle and buffalo, cattle, sheep and goat semen, and cattle, sheep and goat embryos. This agreement is part of a larger initiative that has led to 42 market openings for Brazilian agribusiness in 2025, creating 342 new business opportunities since 2023. This collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) is aimed at tapping into the potential of the Mali market, which has over 23 million inhabitants, most of whom are rural dwellers.
