Organic agriculture studies in Gökçeada and Bozcaada will direct Turkey

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ebubekir Zenginder said that the organic agriculture studies carried out in Gökçeada and Bozcaada districts of Çanakkale, which are laboratory for the Ministry, will guide the practices in Turkey. Secretgider visited some businesses and facilities in Gökçeada, which was selected as a pilot region for ecological agriculture by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2002, and received information about the activities. Secretgider, who inspected the construction of the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry building, distributed saplings to the citizens with the Directorate staff in the center of the island.
