The harvesting campaign in Russia is approaching the equator. Now work is underway in 49 regions of the country. As of August 2, farmers harvested 51 million tons of grain. Cereals and leguminous crops have been threshed from an area of 11.9 million hectares. Including wheat harvested from 9.9 million hectares, 43.9 million tons were harvested. In addition, 5.2 million tons of barley were harvested. This season, the average yield in the country has increased by a third compared to last year. The highest indicator for cereals as a whole is noted in the Kaliningrad region (61.9 c/ha), wheat and barley - in the Krasnodar Territory (63.2 c/ha and 68.3 c/ha, respectively), rapeseed - in the Bryansk region ( 40 q/ha).
