In Kazakhstan, farmers in the country's main rice-growing region expect to harvest over 500 thousand tons of rice in 2024. The Minister of Agriculture has participated in the harvest campaign and confirmed the large yield. Part of the rice production, approximately 1 thousand tons, will be allocated for the domestic market to maintain price stability through stabilization funds. Additionally, the Kyzylorda region, the region leading in rice cultivation, has applied all of its planned fertilizer, totaling over 60 thousand tons, to the soil this year.
