In February 2025, Peruvian artichoke exports saw a decrease of 0.2% in volume and 15.4% in value compared to the same month in the previous year. The total export volume was 3,002 tons, valued at US$7.62 million. This decrease is due to a 15.2% drop in average export price to US$2.54 per kilogram. The United States, Spain, and France were the primary importers of Peruvian artichokes, with the United States being the largest market. The exports were predominantly processed artichokes, especially canned products. The logistics of these exports were primarily handled by DP World, APM Terminals, and Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos – Paita.
