In the second quarter of 2024, Peruvian coffee exports saw a significant increase, with a total of 30,964 tons exported valued at $119.6 million, marking an 84.3% increase in volume and a 60.7% increase in value compared to the same period in 2023. Despite a decrease in the average international price of Peruvian coffee to $3.86 per kilogram, the higher volume helped offset this. These exports were distributed to 40 international destinations, with the United States, Germany, Belgium, Canada, and Mexico being the main recipients. H.V.C Exportaciones S.A.C., Perales Huancaruna S.A., Comercio Amazonía S.A., and Amazonas Coffee Friends S.A.C. were the leading companies in the coffee export business during this period.
