In 2024, Peruvian agricultural exports reached a record high of $12,784 million, a 22.1% increase from the previous year, driven by higher shipments of blueberries, cocoa, and their derivatives. The United States and the European Union were the main destinations for these exports. Fruit exports also saw growth, led by increases in sales of blueberries, avocado, mandarin, and lemon. Other exports such as cocoa and derivatives, coffee, lemon essential oil, vegetables, and more also increased. This growth contributed to a new record for Peruvian exports, which reached $74,664 million, with the metallurgical, fishing, agricultural, mining, and chemical sectors also seeing positive performance.
