Access to this vegetative material has the purpose of improving production and extending the harvest period of this fruit, in order to achieve better market prices for Peruvian “green gold”, for the benefit of small and medium avocado producers. As is known, the Peruvian avocado currently enters 66 markets, such as the US, China, Japan, South Korea, countries of the European Union, among the most important and after the end of the avocado export campaign in 2021, it reached a quantity of 537 460 tons, 30% higher than last season.
