The Minister of the Rural State of Poland, Robert Telus, announced this at the press conference, Ukrinform reports. The Polish minister confirmed that negotiations with his Ukrainian colleague Mikola Solski are likely to begin this coming year. Telus noted that they had a telephone conversation with the Ukrainian minister, which had been discussed in advance, and called for negotiations to be held in a good atmosphere, in order to stop the Ukrainian cronyism against Poland at the COT. At the same time, the minister said that Poland will not lift the embargo on Ukrainian products until a more comprehensive solution is found that protects the interests of Polish farmers. “We are not concerned about our embargo, as there is no safe and effective solution to guarantee the interests of the Polish farmer, and Ukrainian grain does not go to Poland,” Telus said.
