In Peru, a price drop in lemons will be observed in October

In September the price of lemon will probably increase. The central bank's projections suggest that the value of lemon will be 15.7 soles per kilo, 15.1 soles in October, 9.4 soles in November and 6.58 soles in December.
(Agraria.pe) The price of lemon remains high for Peruvian families. However, this is a temporary effect given that it will decrease soon, predicted the Central Reserve Bank (BCR). According to Julio Velarde, president of the institution, the price drop will be observed starting in October, although slowly. "We are still expecting that in September the price of lemon will probably increase, reduce in October, November and begin to reduce more rapidly in December. Obviously they are estimates," he said during the presentation of the Inflation Report for the third quarter of 2023.
