Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Rice prices have continued to soar since the last two months. With rice prices repeatedly breaking records, what is the right solution?

Arief Prasetyo Adi, Head of the National Food Agency, said that the price of rice had actually decreased, especially in Jakarta. This is because the government has made efforts to reduce the price of rice, such as carrying out massive distribution of Bulog rice.

Meanwhile, Mujiburrohman, Secretary General of APPSI, said that Indonesia had not entered a national rice emergency. The current efforts made by the government are considered effective in reducing the price of rice according to people's affordability.
