Prices for basic products have fallen sharply in Ukraine: how much does a kilogram cost?

Wheat flour prices in Ukraine have decreased by 16% over the past month. It is noted that the average price of this product is 25.8 hryvnias per kilogram. The monthly monitoring of product prices by the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club (UKAB) association indicates that in the period from January to February, the average price of flour for Ukrainians was 30.5 UAH/kg. At the same time, prices began to fall in March. If at the beginning of the month the average price was at the level of 27.7 UAH/kg, then two weeks later the average price fell to 25.8 UAH/kg. At the same time, compared to 2024, the average price of flour increased by 9%. "The change in price (for wheat flour, - UNIAN) may be a decision by retail chains to make discounts before the Easter holidays, because wheat prices remain stable during the month," the report says.
