Ukraine has experienced a significant decrease in wheat flour prices by 16% over the past month, with the average price now at 25.8 hryvnias per kilogram. This decrease is likely to be due to retail chains offering discounts in anticipation of the Easter holidays. However, when compared to 2024, the average price of flour has seen a 9% increase. Concurrently, the country has witnessed an increase in cucumber prices by 12%, while carrot prices have dropped by 10%. Additionally, a rapid increase in beet prices is being attributed to a shortage in the market.
