The joint initiative of the State Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development (Seapdr), through the Department of Agricultural Research and Diagnosis (DDPA), with Emater / RS-Ascar, aims to raise information about culture and, thus, , to promote the development of the productive chain in the State. The initial phase of the project - which will last for 12 months (until August 2021) - consists of carrying out actions in six rural properties located in Bom Jesus, São Francisco de Paula, Serafina Côrrea, Vacaria and Nova Petrópolis, called units of monitoring, without any cost or remuneration to participating farmers. In each of them, the agronomic routine for growing hops will be observed; collecting data on plant development; collection of agrometeorological data; soil collection and analysis; field days for training the project's technical team and gathering socioeconomic information on the hop culture.
