Emerging crops are doing well after rain showers that covered most of the province last week. Spring wheat is the best with 27 per cent rated excellent for development and 60 per cent good. Barley is rated 23 per cent excellent and 65 per cent good while peas are 23 per cent excellent and 64 per cent good. Winter wheat is rated lowest with 16 per cent excellent and 84 per cent good.
