Regional adjustments mark the beginning of the wheat week

The wheat market started the week with distinct adjustments among the main producing states, amid a slower pace of business and the proximity of the year-end, according to information from TF Agroeconômica. In Rio Grande do Sul, average prices fell by 1.56% according to Cepea, while buyers and sellers maintained close references but with little effective business. The indications for lots remain between R$ 1,080 and R$ 1,150 at local mills, reaching R$ 1,160 for December and R$ 1,180 for January at the port. Feed wheat remains at R$ 1,110 for December and R$ 1,115 for January. TF Agroeconômica points out that the mills in Rio Grande do Sul are working with short stocks and will need to replenish volumes at the beginning of January.
