In An Giang, OM 5451 rice is being purchased by traders at 5,800 – 6,050 VND/kg, up 50 VND/kg; IR 504 rice stands at 5,500 – 5,700 VND/kg; Aromatherapy 8 5,600 – 6,000 VND/kg; Long An sticky rice 7,700 VND/kg; fresh rice OM 18 5,800 – 5,900 VND/kg; flower girl 5,900 VND/kg; IR 504 (dry) 6,500 VND/kg; An Giang sticky rice 7,700 – 7,800 VND/kg. The price of rice in Can Tho is still stable, such as: Jasmine rice at 7,100 VND/kg, OM 4218 at 6,700 VND/kg, IR 50404 at 6,400 VND/kg. In Soc Trang, some types of rice prices have remained stable such as: ST 24 is priced at 8,500 VND/kg, Dai Thong 8 is 6,900 VND/kg, OM 5451 is 6,800 VND/kg. In Hau Giang, rice prices have increased/decreased depending on type compared to last week such as: IR 50404 is 6,400 VND/kg, up 100 VND/kg; while OM 18 is 6,800 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; RVT is 8,100 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg.
