Meanwhile, the price of December 2025 rubber futures in Thailand fell by 0.04 baht (or 0.1%); to 65.76 baht/kg. In China, the price of this commodity for January 2026 delivery edged up by 20 CNY (or 0.13%); to 15,045 CNY/ton. Today's global rubber prices are still rising in Japan and China, but slightly falling in Thailand. The Japanese market edged up amid China's easing of export restrictions on Nexperia chips and the weakening of the yen. On November 9, China announced an exemption from export controls on Nexperia chips for civilian use. Nexperia is an important chip manufacturer in the automotive industry, so this move is expected to support car production and drive up demand for rubber for tires. ...
