Russia is capable of doubling its grain exports, but to do so, the country needs to form a new market structure and overcome the power of global traders. This was reported by Alexey Ivanov, Director of the BRICS International Center for Competition Law and Policy at the New Economic School Higher School of Economics, during the 4th BRICS+ Digital Competition Forum in Rio de Janeiro. "If the structure of the global grain market were more competitive and organized on more transparent principles, Russia could significantly increase its export volumes, by two times or more," Ivanov said.
