Russian grain was bought by 126 countries in 2022

Russian grain and products of its processing in 2022 were bought by 126 countries of the world, Rosselkhoznadzor reports. According to the issued phytosanitary certificates, since the beginning of this year, grain exports have exceeded the figure for 2021 by 3%. "The geography of exports has not changed significantly. The main buyers of Russian grain, as before, are the countries of the Middle East with a share of 39%, Africa - 20%, Asia - 31%, the EU - 7%," the message says.

At the same time, shipments of Russian grain products to the EAEU countries increased significantly - by 1.6 times, including to Belarus by 72%, Kazakhstan - by 55%, Kyrgyzstan - by 64%, Armenia by 49%. Rosselkhoznadzor draws attention to the fact that the export of grain processing products increased by 69%, to 1.3 million tons.
