Russian wheat export duty to increase from March 29

The export duty on wheat from Russia from March 29 to April 4 inclusive will increase to 5,409.6 rubles per ton, barley will decrease to 3,245.3 rubles, and on the export of corn will increase to 2,885 rubles per ton, follows from the data of the Ministry of Agriculture. The export duty rate for wheat and meslin (a mixture of wheat and rye) is calculated at an indicative price of $295.9 per ton, for barley — at a price of $241, for corn — at a price of $234.3 per ton. The export duty for wheat from Russia from March 22 to 28 inclusive is 5327.9 rubles per ton, for the export of barley - 3298.2 rubles, for the export of corn - 2646.9 rubles per ton. Russia applies a flexible export duty on wheat, corn and barley, which operates under the grain damper mechanism.
