(Agraria.pe) Between January and September of 2025, Peru's seed exports reached US$ 85,673,000, showing an increase of +18% from the US$ 72,378,000 reported in the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the Agroexport Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX), which noted that in the first nine months of this year, the Netherlands consolidated itself as the main destination for Peruvian seeds with US$ 51,300,000 (+33%) and a participation of 60%. The United States followed with US$ 19 million, (-18%), Spain with US$ 5,100,000 (+124%), Israel US$ 3,400,000, and Japan with US$ 2,800,000. Shipments to Chile also grew (+109%); in contrast, Italy (-77%) and Jordan (-2%) showed declines.
