The service announced that, through Resolution No. 735, the analysis was approved as part of a strategic and fundamental requirement to recertify that the country is free of said disease. Sampling will be conducted in 390 previously selected establishments, and 1,950 samples will be collected. The evidence will also serve to rule out the transmission of other diseases, such as African Swine Fever, Porcine Respiratory and Reproductive Syndrome, Aujeszky, Foot-and-Mouth Disease, and Seneca Virus. The work will be carried out by official Senacsa brigades, composed of veterinarians and para-technicians who are duly trained and prepared for this type of study. Lastly, Senacsa thanks the collaboration of producers and the general citizenry, whose active participation is fundamental to strengthening prevention, control, and eradication actions for animal diseases.
