The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through the National Forestry and Wildlife Service (Serfor), obtained the endorsement and validation of the National Forestry and Wildlife Management System (Sinafor) for the proposal of the National Forestry and Wildlife Policy by 2040, during its sixth extraordinary session. In the session, Serfor presented the progress of the formulation process of this new policy, which is projected as the guiding instrument that will direct the actions of the sector to ensure the sustainable use, conservation, and comprehensive management of resources, in accordance with Law No. 29763, the Forestry and Wildlife Law.
