In the second ten days of September, agrometeorological conditions in Ukraine were satisfactory for the completion of the growing season of late plants. This fact was noted by specialists of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center in their report. “Sunny weather contributed to the harvesting of late agricultural crops, corn, soybeans, sunflowers, buckwheat, millet, as well as the accumulation of sugars in beet roots,” experts noted. They also recalled that the sowing of winter crops continued for a decade and grain germination and the formation of seedlings were noted in previously sown areas.
