Updated Mar 23, 2023
The soybean market in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul had a day of expressive losses of up to 5.00/bag, according to information released by TF Agroeconomia. “The market remains slow and without many deals being carried out. The producer strongly regulates the supply of soybeans at that moment, not satisfied with the prices that continue to fall, because of Chicago, time for premiums”, he comments. “All positions mark a drop of R$ 5.00/bag - in Dourados, prices were quoted at R$ 142.00, in Maracaju at R$ 141.00, in Sidrolândia at R$ 140.00, in Campo Grande at R$ 141.00 and in Chapadão do Sul at R$ 139.00”, completes the consultancy. Mato Grosso recorded a day of lows of up to 2.60/sack, with no business still at a standstill. “The week continues without any changes, prices continue to fall and business remains under the radar, with producers trying to control sales and widespread dissatisfaction with prices. The market is beginning to generate concerns for both producers and workers alike.
