Spain threatens to reject the distribution of EU fishing quotas

The EU Fisheries Ministers began this Sunday the meeting in which the fishing possibilities in the Atlantic and the plan for the Mediterranean with a view to 2022 will be decided, negotiations in which Spain will not support a result that is not satisfactory, warned the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Luis Planas. The Agriculture and Fisheries Council began the weekend, in anticipation of the complicated negotiations each December, which usually last two full days, with its nights. The aim is to conclude the meeting before Wednesday, when an Eastern Partnership summit will be held in Brussels in which EU leaders will participate, European sources indicated.
