This year, 5 new varieties of spring wheat entered the National Register. Check what. In mid-January, a meeting of the Commission for the registration of cereal varieties was held, chaired by prof. Marek Korbas (IOR-PIB in Poznań) devoted to varieties of spring cereals. Due to the pandemic, the meeting took the form of a videoconference. It was preceded by a media meeting of the members of the Commission with representatives of the units notifying the variety and invited users of cereal varieties, at which they had the opportunity to present their comments and additional information and arguments with regard to the varieties of spring cereals being the subject of an opinion by the Commission.
