Strong hailstorms that were recorded locally this year in September, in particular damaged crops still vegetating, ie sugar beet, and to a lesser extent also maize. September is the month when the growth of root biomass is the highest. It is also the time when it accumulates sugar. The pity at this stage, as spectacular as in the photos, is also of economic importance.
