For rural producers to receive the subsidy of 100% of the values of the Exchange-Exchange of Corn and Sorghum Seeds Program for the 2021/2022 harvest, the municipality where they live must have the emergency decree because of the drought approved by the government of State. Until this Tuesday (1/11), Rio Grande do Sul counts 53 municipalities in this situation (follow updates on the Civil Defense page). The subsidy was authorized by Governor Eduardo Leite in a meeting with the secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, Silvana Covatti, last week.
