Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, confirmed that a contract has been signed with the State of Brazil to import 25,000 tons of frozen poultry, which will arrive starting this week, indicating that these quantities will arrive from Brazilian ports to the ports of Port Said and Alexandria. Al-Moselhi said in press statements today that the quantities targeted for receipt until March 23 will reach 3362 tons and 234 kilos of frozen Brazilian poultry. Al-Moselhi indicated that all necessary measures have been taken at the ports of Port Said and Alexandria to receive these quantities, with an emphasis on the speed of customs release of shipments that arrive directly.
