At the end of the last working week, Tajik potato growers had harvested about 740,000 tons of potatoes in the current season. This is 100,500 tons more on an annual basis. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan, potatoes were planted on a total area of 34,180 hectares in 2021. On November 12, potatoes were harvested from an area of 32,550 hectares. About 387 million tons of potatoes were harvested in the Sughd region, and 108 million tons in the Khatlon region.
