The number of foreign affiliates in the Special Agricultural System (SEA) stood at an average of 234,866 people in October, which represents a 3.59% increase compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations. The data released this Friday by the Ministry shows that foreign affiliation to this system has risen by 5.45% compared to September. Of these 234,866 people, 187,852 came from countries outside the European Union (with Morocco in first place, with 98,665 affiliates) and 47,014 were from EU countries (mainly from Romania, with 38,328). By regions, Andalusia has concentrated the largest number of foreign affiliates in the SEA (88,649), followed by Murcia (47,136) and the Valencian Community (27,290).
